Shoe Box Appeal

Can you help?

Rolleston Pre-School is once again participating in Operation Christmas Child - the annual activity that encourages children across the UK to fill shoe boxes with presents and other essential items such as toothpaste and soap, and send them to some of the world’s poorest children.

Last year, Rolleston Pre-School sent 32 shoe boxes filled with presents to the elected areas of Mozambique, Kosovo and the Ukraine - a great offering from our 53 children.

We now need empty shoe boxes with detachable lids for our 2008 Christmas Shoe Box Appeal.

If you are able to wrap them in Christmas paper that would be wonderful, but if not, please just bring them along to Pre-School and we will wrap them.

Many thanks.

Thank you to all who contributed to our Shoe Box Appeal. With 41 children on our register, we managed to fill and send a tremendous 37 shoe boxes. These contained gifts, and essential items such as toothpaste and wash cloths, and will be sent to some of the world’s poorest children.
    Thank you.
